§ Mr. DUKEThe Director of National Service for Ireland is Mr. Patrick J. O'Neill, Chairman of the Dublin County Council, and Mr. S. W. Strange, formerly in the office of the Board of Works, has been appointed secretary. It is hoped to carry out the work with the assistance of local committees and a small staff of 31 organisers of labour, and Mr. O'Neill hopes also to have the assistance of a central advisory committee.
