HC Deb 15 March 1917 vol 91 c1260
8. Mr. GINNELL

asked whether the memorial in favour of negotiations for peace, based upon a recent declaration of the Prime Minister of England and signed by many members of the French Chamber of Deputies and other representative men, including representatives of invaded districts, for presentation to the Allied belligerents has yet been presented; and whether this House will be. consulted before a reply is given?

Sir R. CECIL

I am unaware of any such memorial and cannot therefore state what action would be taken respecting any possible reply.
