The following question stood on the Order Paper in the name of the hon. Member for West Clare (Mr. Lynch):

49. To ask the Prime Minister whether it is still part of the programme of the Allies that the territories designated as Italia irredenta should be incorporated with the Kingdom of Italy; and whether he is aware that an influential minority of the population object to this total transfer of allegiance?

I beg to withdraw this question. I only put it down to drive the Prime Minister into a corner. But the situation is too grave; I therefore withdraw the question.
