§ Mr. SWIFT MacNEILLMay I ask a question of which I have given the right hon. Gentleman a memorandum? The right hon. Gentleman stated that a small Committee of the Cabinet would be appointed in reference to the excised portion of the Dardanelles Report, if the late Prime Minister were willing to join. May I ask, has that small Committee been appointed, and, having regard to the fact that the Cabinet is only five in number, how small the Committee will be?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI am glad to say my right hon. Friend has agreed to act in the manner I suggested, and a small Committee has been appointed. If I said "the Cabinet" in that case, I should have said "the Government." Of course there are heads of Departments, who are not members of the Cabinet, who ought to be present.
§ Mr. PRINGLEIf it is decided to publish these excised portions, will they be available before the discussion on Tuesday?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWCertainly; if it is found possible to publish them, they ought to be published before the discussion.
