asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the extra work which has devolved upon the remaining staffs of the banks, he will consider the advisability of having the banks closed on Easter Saturday and thus allow the staffs a continuous rest of four days?


I will consider the suggestion if the banks put it forward.
