§ 18. Mr. GINNELLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will lay upon the Table a copy of the statement on the Roger Casement case sent to the late Foreign Secretary by the American lawyer who had watched that case, to enable hon. Members to see whether that statement disclosed the fact that the British Government had prevented certain relevant material being brought before the Court, thus preventing the Court having the whole case before it?
Mr. BALFOURThe answer is in the negative. I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Member for Hitchin to a question on this subject on the 26th October last.
