Mr. LARDNERasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in view of the difficulties which have been experienced for some time back in the transport of foodstuffs from Newry and Belfast to the counties of Armagh and Monaghan owing to want of proper railway facilities, be will consider whether some steps can be taken with a view to working the Ulster Catal, the inland waterway system which is available for the service of this part of Ulster?
