HC Deb 07 March 1917 vol 91 c384
55. Mr. GILBERT

asked the Prime Minister whether ho can now make any announcement regarding the Easter Bank Holidays; and can he state when the Proclamation respecting the same will be issued?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The Government, after full consideration, do not propose to interfere with the ordinary Easter Holidays, or in Scotland with the Spring Holiday. The Government, however, rely upon all workpeople realising the importance of returning to work promptly after the holidays.
