HC Deb 06 March 1917 vol 91 c217
Mr. T. RICHARDSON

(by Private Notice) asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether an alarming outbreak of serious illness, including over 700 cases and several deaths, occurred last week immediately after inoculation at Park Hall Camp, Oswestry, among the recruits of the Herefordshire Regiment; will he state how many deaths have occurred up to date; and whether any and what steps have been taken to deal with the situation?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I am calling for a report in this case and will let my hon. Friend know the result as soon as possible.
