asked the President of the Board of Trade how many steamers were fitted with refrigerator machines engaged in the frozen-meat trade of the United Kingdom on 31st December, 1916; the cubic capacity of insulated cargo chambers at the same date; and how many such steamers have been sunk since 1st December, 1916?
