§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELCan the right hon. Gentleman say what business the Government propose to take next week? Also, whether an opportunity can be given at an early date for a discussion on the Report of the Royal Commission on Mesopotamia?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWOn Monday and Tuesday we propose to take the Finance Bill.
On Wednesday, we will take the Representation of the People Bill.
I should be glad if the House would allow the business for Thursday and Friday to remain over until Monday, when I will announce it.
As regards the other question of my right hon. Friend, if, as I assume is the case, it is the desire of the House that the question should be discussed, we shall, of course, be glad to give a day for the purpose.
§ Colonel YATEWhen will the Corn Production Bill be taken?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWWe hope to take it very shortly. After Clause 15 of the Representation of the People Bill has been disposed of, and we have completed the Finance Bill, we hope to proceed with it.
§ Mr. P. A. HARRISWill the Government give a day for a discussion of the Motion standing in the name of the hon. Member for Greenock, in reference to National Expenditure? It would greatly facilitate the progress of the Finance Bill.
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI hope that what my hon. Friend has just said will prove to be the fact. It is our intention to give an early date, and I hope on Monday to name it exactly.
§ Mr. PRINGLEWhen will the Munitions of War (Amendment) Bill be taken?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI am sorry that I am not in a position to say.
§ Resolved, "That this House do sit to-morrow."—[Mr. Bonar Law.]
