§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe relation between existing currency conditions and prices is a question which has been and is receiving the constant attention of the Government and we are fully alive to the importance, from the point of view of checking the rise of prices as well as from that of the maintenance of the foreign exchanges, of controlling undue expansion of currency issues.
