For the purposes of this Act and of Sections twenty-six and seventy-five of the Companies (Consolidation) Act, 1908, as amended by this Act, the expression "director" shall include any person in accordance with whose directions or instructions the directors of a company are accustomed to act.

Amendment made: Leave out the words "and seventy-five," and insert instead thereof the words "seventy-five and two hundred and seventy-four."—[Sir G. Hewart.]
