asked the Under-Secretary of State for War how many medical officers have been killed and wounded, respectively, since the commencement of the War?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The numbers of Regular (including temporary commissioned) and Territorial officers have been as follows:

137 killed in action.
58 died of wounds.
62 died of disease.
707 wounded.
964

Figures for Colonial officers are not readily available.
