HC Deb 21 June 1917 vol 94 c1973
12. Mr. BOLAND

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can explain the cause of the further delay which has taken place with regard to the presentation to Parliament of the rules of the Intermediate Education Board?

Mr. DUKE

The necessary formalities have occupied longer than I expected. I am pressing for their completion.

Mr. BOLAND

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether there is the least chance of the rules being presented before the end of the month, as the school year comes to an end in July?

Mr. DUKE

Certainly they will be presented. I am making inquiries to-day to find out what is the cause of the disappointment which I have had.
