HC Deb 21 June 1917 vol 94 cc1963-4
64. Sir ARCHIBALD WILLIAMSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been drawn to the desire of some of our Allies, especially Italy and France, for the provision of a railway ferry across the Channel; whether the advantages of such a ferry from the point of view of the War have been considered; and whether any steps have been taken towards constructing the ferry?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am making inquiries, and will communicate with my hon. Friend.
