On Monday I hope the House will allow me to say what the business will be for the rest of the week. Perhaps it will be for the convenience of the House if I say I had hoped to take the Finance Bill next week, but I shall not be able to take it until the following week.
§ Colonel WEIGALLWill the Leader of the House consider the advisability of giving a day for the Motion for the appointment of a Committee on National Expenditure before proceeding with the Finance Bill, in order to save the time of the House?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI really wish to give a day for this as soon as possible.

§ Mr. BONAR LAWI could not say, but I hope to give a definite date before long.
