§ Mr. MACPHERSONMy hon. Friend's question relates, I think, to the proposals which my right hon. Friend the Financial Secretary explained to the hon. and learned Member for Waterford on 25th October last. The Secretary of State hopes that the results of the deliberations of the Committee, there referred to, will be laid before him shortly. But that Committee has not, I understand, contemplated the posthumous award of honours which, as has been intimated previously to the House, is for many reasons considered to be inadvisable.
