HC Deb 20 June 1917 vol 94 cc1765-6
31. Mr. RAMSAY MACDONALD

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that at recent sittings of the Leicester local tribunal there have been three, and sometimes four, military representatives present; and whether he will give instructions to prevent this irregularity and waste?

Mr. MACPHERSON

The circumstances suggested in the question have not been brought to my notice. I have called for a report, and will inform my hon. Friend of the result.

Mr. HOGGE

Can they not use some of these men in the Army?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I do not know that these facts are as stated.
