Mr. KINGasked the Undersecretary of State for War whether on 3rd and 4th June there were disturbances in Leeds, in the course of which several soldiers were injured and their homes attacked; whether above 200 Russian Jews have enlisted in the British Army from Leeds alone and that their families complain that the homes of these men have been violated and the businesses and work of their friends destroyed; and whether he will take some steps to restore confidence and create enthusiasm among the Allied alien population?
