HC Deb 14 June 1917 vol 94 cc1138-9
10. Mr. BOLAND

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he is aware that the Intermediate Board of Education has not yet presented its rules for the coming school year; can he state the cause of this delay; and whether, in view of the inconvenience thereby caused to the heads of intermediate schools, whose school year is now drawing to a close, steps will be taken to have the new rules presented to Parliament without further delay?

Mr. DUKE

The rules raised several important points which have now been settled, and directions have been given for them to be laid before the House without delay.
