§ Mr. ASQUITHMay I ask the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the House what is the business for next week? I assume that one day will be set aside for Supply, and, instead of taking the Vote originally decided upon, may I venture to suggest, in view of the great uneasiness which prevails in many parts of the country in regard to the operation of re-examinations, he will on the day set aside for Supply next week take the War Office Vote?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWOn Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we shall resume the Debate in the Committee stage of the Representation of the People Bill.
As regards Supply, as far as I know, it has always been understood that the subject is left pretty largely, not to the Government, but to the Opposition, and, as I understand that they wish this subject to which the right hon. Gentleman refers to be taken, the Vote of the salary of the Secretary of State for War will be put down.
§ Resolved, "That this House do sit To-morrow."—[Mr. Bonar Law.]
