§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money to be provided by Parliament of the Expenses of Returning 741 Officers and of part of the Expenses connected with Registration under any Act of the present Session to amend the Law with respect to Parliamentary and Local Government Franchises and the Registration of Parliamentary and Local Government Electors and the conduct of Elections; and of the remuneration and travelling allowances of Assistant Judges appointed in pursuance of such Act."

§ Mr. KINGAre the Government really going to take this business? Not only they do not know their own minds, but they had not a chairman ready apparently, nor can they answer questions.
