HC Deb 13 July 1917 vol 95 cc2298-9
13. Mr. FIELD

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland when he intends to introduce the Midwives (Ireland) Bill; and whether he is aware that there is dissatisfaction owing to delay and that it will be treated as a non-contentious matter?

Mr. DUKE

A Bill has been drafted. If I am assured that it will in fact be non-contentious, I will consult the Leader of the House as to its introduction.
