Mr. RAMSAY MACDONALDasked the Secretary for Scotland whether his attention has been drawn to a discussion which took place at the Forfar district tribunal on 27th June, meeting at Forfar, upon the question of whether a man hold- 2095 ing an exemption certificate as a farm labourer can bargain for wages, and when the tribunal indicated that it would come to a decision on the assumption that it was empowered to decide what was a reasonable wage; and whether tribunals are empowered to settle the wages which exempted farm servants may be asked to accept?
