Lord HENRY CAVENDISH- BE NTINCKasked the President of the Local Government Board whether his Department was aware of the manner in which the work of reconstruction was carried, out at Silvertown by the Office of Works; and whether it was considered that this work was performed in a manner consistent with the spirit of the Public Health Acts?
Mr. FISHERThe Local Government Board were aware that the reinstatement of the damaged property was to be undertaken by the Office of Works. Any question as to the manner in which the work was carried out should be addressed to that Department.
