§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD Of AGRICULTURE (Sir R. Winfrey)The Board have reason to believe that the supplies of certain varieties of vegetable seeds available for sowing in 1918 will be considerably below the normal. They are accordingly, taking steps to safeguard such supplies as well as to secure their proper distribution, and with this object have appointed an Advisory Committee to consider and recommend measures which may be adopted for the purpose.
