Mr. EUGENE WASONasked the Secretary for Scotland when he proposes to lay the Supplementary Estimate and minute dealing with the additional Grant of £500,000 for the benefit of education in Scotland which he promised on 24th April; and whether it will be published before the Scottish Estimates are taken?
§ Mr. MUNROI understand that the Supplementary Estimate for the additional Grant for education in Scotland will be laid before Parliament very shortly. I hope to be in a position to issue this week the minute providing for the allocation of the new Grant. The answer to the last part of the question is in the affirmative.
