§ Sir THOMAS RUSSELL (Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture, Ireland)Several cases of non-compliance with the Compulsory Tillage Regulations in county Tipperary have been reported to the Department of Agriculture. Inspectors have visited the county, and in the case of twenty-nine holdings the Department have entered or are about to enter upon the lands in the exercise of their powers under the Defence of the Realm Regulations.
