WILSONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any official information showing that the Argentine at this moment possesses between 200,000 and 300,000 tons of grain in excess of the amount that has been revealed by the Argentine official figures; and, if so, whether he will endeavour to have the embargo upon the export of Argentine grain to Europe removed?
§ Lord R. CECILThere is no information in the possession of His Majesty's Government to show that- the Argentine official figures in respect of grain supplies are incorrect. His Majesty's Government have made every effort to secure the removal of the embargo on the export of wheat, so far without success.
