HC Deb 04 July 1917 vol 95 c1095
34. Mr. R. McNEILL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether any and, if so, how many members of the crew of a Zeppelin recently brought down in England were taken alive?

Mr. MACPHERSON

Three prisoners were captured alive.

Mr. McNEILL

Why was this not reported at the time? Was there any reason for secrecy about it?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I cannot say offhand why it was not reported. If the hon. Member will put down a question I will endeavour to answer it.
