HC Deb 04 July 1917 vol 95 c1089
44. Sir H. DALZIEL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a number of men belonging to the 330th (Home Service) Labour Company, stationed at Felixstowe, are unable to obtain the four clear days' leave to which they are entitled after six months' service; whether leave is only granted for compassionate, agricultural, or very urgent business reasons; and whether, seeing that many of them are married men, some of whom have seen service at the front, he will take the necessary steps to ensure the men getting their proper leave?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I am calling for a report on the circumstances suggested, and will let my right hon. Friend know the result as soon as possible.
