77. Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he proposes to introduce a Bill for carrying out the principles of the Business Names Registration Act in regard to limited companies?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. G. Roberts)

The matter referred to is at present under consideration, but I am not able to name a date for the introduction of a Bill.

Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware of the pressing necessity of bringing limited companies into line with firms in regard to business names?

Mr. ROBERTS

On behalf of my right hon. Friend, he is quite aware of the special nature of the matter and is giving it his serious consideration. He hopes to introduce a Bill at an early date.
