§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. Hayes Fisher)I understand that the only official statistics which were circulated to the Speaker's Conference were figures taken from the Parliamentary Returns 1908, No. 364, and 1915, No. 120, or from the Census Returns of 1911. I doubt whether any useful purpose would be served by issuing them in the form suggested.
