HC Deb 26 April 1917 vol 92 c2589
16. Sir JOHN LONSDALE

asked the Chief Secretary what the equivalent Grant to Irish education will be in view of the Grants announced for England and Wales and Scotland; and if he can indicate how the money will be expended?

18. Mr. O'DONNELL

asked the Chief Secretary what steps are being taken to provide Grants to Irish education corresponding with the Grants given to England and Scotland; and when does he propose giving an opportunity of debating this question?

Mr. DUKE

I am not in a position yet to make a statement on this matter. As to debate, inquiry should be made of the Leader of the House.
