HC Deb 25 April 1917 vol 92 cc2390-1
45. Mr. HERBERT WHITELEY

asked the Prime Minister whether, seeing that the Government are not allowing carpet manufacturers to purchase any East India wool for the purposes of carpet manufacturing, they would consider the release to them of some other wool that would answer the same purpose and at a price not higher than they would have to pay for East India wool?

Mr. FORSTER

I will consider this suggestion.
