KINLOCH-COOKEasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he will consider the possibility of granting sailmakers, Royal Navy, chief petty officer rank, seeing that their rating is the only one to which this concession has not been granted; is he aware that sailmakers are paid lower than any other lower deck rating; and can he see his way to grant them further remuneration in order that they may be placed more on an equality with other ratings in this respect?
