§ The CHIEFSECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Duke)The Department of Agriculture inform me that they are unable to intervene in this matter. Merchants will not supply the rural district council fertiliser to any authorities but the councils, and the Department have therefore suggested to the guardians of Gorey Union that they should use a mixture of four parts of superphosphate and one part of sulphate of ammonia.
