§ 99. Mr. LOUGHasked the President of the Board of Trade why recently the monthly trade Returns have been published so late; whether he can arrange that in future they will appear at the usual time; and when the March Returns may be expected?
Mr. ROBERTSThe introduction of certain modifications in the extent of the information published in these Returns has necessarily involved some delay in their preparation and printing, and the accounts for March will not be ready for publication until about the middle of next week. The delay in future months will be considerably less, but I fear that the regular date of issue will henceforth be somewhat later than in the past.
