HC Deb 19 April 1917 vol 92 c1811
81. Mr. J. P. FARRELL

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that the recent Order for the curtailment of food in hotels and restaurants in Ireland is causing inconvenience to travellers and others engaged in commercial pursuits, whose time for meals is uncertain and often takes place at intervals of many hours by reason of their duties; and is any reconsideration of the Order for such cases contemplated?

Captain BATHURST

No, Sir. The reconsideration of the Order is not at present contemplated.
