Sir HENRY DALZIEL(by Private Notice) asked the First Commissioner of Works whether, in view of the entry of America into the War, it is proposed to give instructions for the Stars and Stripes to be flown on Friday next on Government buildings?
§ Sir A. MONDIn reply to the question put to me by the right hon. Gentleman, I can assure him that instructions have been given, and an effort will be made to fly the Stars and Stripes alongside the Union Jack on as many Government buildings as can be arranged in the short time available.
