Mr. KINGasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that in the "New Europe," a weekly journal, information relative to the decision of the Allies at the recent Rome Conference of their policy has been given, though that information has been denied to this House and the public Press, and that the editor of this journal is a man of military age whose calling-up notice was, in November last, cancelled by the War Office; and whether the "New Europe" is furnished with official information or receives other Government favours not accorded to other journals?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWThe answer to the first and third parts of the question is in the negative; as regards the second part, I am informed that this man has been called up for military service and is serving as a private in the Royal Army Medical Corps.
