Instructions were issued on 12th October that recruiting officers were to begin sending out calling-up notices to men in Groups 23 and 46 and Classes 23 and 46 who have attained forty-one years of age, ordering them to report for service with the Colours on 1st November, 1916, and ensuing days.
§ Mr. MORRELLAre we to take it that the Government intend to deliberately break the pledges they gave to this House?
