§ 87. Mr. RENDALLasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether much discomfort is caused at the Admiralty's Crystal Palace Training School by the low pressure of gas which often interferes with the proper heating of the premises; and will he get the South Metropolitan Gas Company to remedy the grievance?
§ Dr. MACNAMARANo complaint has been received of discomfort caused by improper gas heating. The gas is supplied by the South Suburban Gas Company, and the pressure is ample. Defects occasionally arise due to obstructions forming in the pipes and connections, especially in very cold weather, but remedial measures are immediately taken.
§ Mr. RENDALLWill the right hon. Gentleman make inquiry?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAIf the hon. Member wishes for a further reply, I will, certainly.
