§ Mr. BONAR LAWI understand that the Dardanelles Commission are considering the desirability of issuing an interim Report, but they cannot name a definite date for its publication, should this be decided on. The Mesopotamia Commission inform me that they do not think it will be possible for them to present an interim Report before Christmas.
Sir H. DALZIELIs it intended that these Reports shall be laid upon the Table of the House, as the Act provides?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI do not remember the exact wording of the Act, but obviously I cannot say anything about it until I see the Reports.
§ Mr. PRINGLEDoes the right hon. Gentleman suggest that the decision of Parliament depends upon the view the Government take of the Reports?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWNo; not if the Act of Parliament requires it. I said I was not familiar with the wording of the Act.
