BATHURST(by Private Notice) asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Food Controller will have any authority in connection with the home production of food; if so, will he act under the advice of a person or body of persons having practical knowledge of agriculture; if not, how is it proposed to avoid hereafter any conflict of Depart- 1572 mental policy in relation to agricultural requirements or to ensure during the War the largest possible production of homegrown food?
