HC Deb 21 November 1916 vol 87 c1205
52. Mr. ASHLEY

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether at the Olympia depot of the Royal Army Clothing Factory, Pimlico, goods coming inward and going outward are still being conveyed by carts and motors from stations four to five miles distant, or is use now being made of the railway and railway sidings which abut on the building?

Mr. FORSTER

Representatives of the railway companies and the Royal Army Clothing Department have recently conferred on the spot to see if more extended use of the railway is practicable and economical, and I hope a decision may be reached very shortly.
