HC Deb 21 November 1916 vol 87 c1201
35. Mr. R. McNEILL

asked why all ranks wounded in action in. Dublin during the rebellion are not to wear the gold-braid distinction on the left arm worn by those wounded in other fields, having regard to the fact that it was officially announced in Army Orders that a state of war existed in Ireland during the rebellion, and that all troops at home are held to be on active service; and whether the dependants of soldiers killed in action in Dublin during the rebellion are entitled to the same pensions and allowances as the dependants of soldiers killed on other fronts?

Mr. FORSTER

The point raised in the first part of the question is still under consideration. The answer to the second part of the question is in the affirmative.
