HC Deb 16 November 1916 vol 87 c956
103. Mr. BYRNE

asked if orders have yet been made for the release of Miss Helen Moloney and Miss Carney, Irish prisoners at Aylesbury?

Mr. SAMUEL

The answer is in the negative.

Mr. BYRNE

May I appeal to the right hon. Gentleman to use what is called British chivalry in the treatment of this woman. What advantage is it to the Government to retain this one Irish lady prisoner?
