HC Deb 16 November 1916 vol 87 c985
112. Mr. SNOWDEN

asked if the police, with the sanction of the Home Office, have ordered Mrs. Kohler, of Brighton, to leave her home; if Mrs. Kohler has resided for twenty-nine years in Brighton; if her husband, who died since the outbreak of war, had lived for forty-six years in this country, and was for many years the musical director of the Brighton Aquarium concerts; if Mrs. Kohler has lost one son killed and another has lost his leg fighting for the Allies; and if the order to drive Mrs. Kohler from her home is going to be or has been carried out?

Mr. SAMUEL

I will make further inquiry into this case, and meanwhile Mrs. Kohler will be allowed to remain.
